My name is Daniel Sykes and I have been told on numerous occasions that I am an intelligent person and have an ambitious personality. My ambition in life is to become a respected athlete of this country playing Rugby League and to become a Biochemical Engineer. My ambitions in life have developed throughout my entire life hence making Sport and academia the two greatest perspectives withholding the greatest of importance in my life. Personally I am willing to participate in any activity that will broaden any chance of making my ambitions become a reality. I have been told by many people of great importance personally that I am conscientious, hardworking and always willing to do any task that is my responsibility. I can work under any environment stressful or peaceful and I am determined to work to the best of my potential all the time.
Due to many experiences I have endured, it has given me the opportunity to have gained the ability to cope with the pressure of any situation.
Many hobbies and interests in my life make me who I am and determine the way my life is lived. Physical activity and Intellectual activities are my most distinguished interests. I enjoy Maths, science and I am willing to broaden my academic horizon by learning many different types of subjects.
Academically I am achieving above average, in every subject from math to PD/H/PE. During my entire schooling career I have been in the Gifted and Talented Student Program (GATS). I am a person whom of which enjoys learning and furthering my knowledge in every aspect.
I do not only achieve highly in academic regions of life but I also achieve highly in sporting aspects. I have been playing rugby league for many years and I thoroughly enjoy this sport and my love for sport prolongs more and more the older I get. Since I have been playing this sport I have gained very sophisticated disciplinary skills and I have found the ability to transfer these skills into everyday life and everyday situations. I have been the appointed captain of many different teams and I am told by mentors that my leadership skills are very mature and disciplined.
With acknowledgement of skills that I possess I have gained the ability to pride myself on being an enthusiastic team member, responsible, Organised, able to take initiative, disciplined and my leadership skills.
With all the experiences I have completed I have gained the ability of time management and this is beneficial in completing my short term and long term ambitions. I developed my time management skills by participating in sport, school and work.
My ambitions are a major part of my life and they sculpt the way my life is lived. I persist in making the best of my life and taking any opportunities to expand my chances of achieving my ambitions that I have set for myself.

申請(qǐng)德國(guó)留學(xué)預(yù)科條件
一、預(yù)科基本類型
按照學(xué)校的性質(zhì)，可以分為公立預(yù)科和私立預(yù)科。
1.公立預(yù)科
公立預(yù)科是由每個(gè)州的州政府來(lái)統(tǒng)一設(shè)立的，在每個(gè)學(xué)校下設(shè)立有分院，附著在學(xué)校之下，但是不屬于學(xué)校的管理范圍，所有的項(xiàng)目直接對(duì)州政府負(fù)責(zé)。
申請(qǐng)公立預(yù)科的學(xué)生，直接向州教育部進(jìn)行申請(qǐng)，并且填好你想要申請(qǐng)的大學(xué)，這樣會(huì)直接將你安排在大學(xué)下屬的預(yù)科進(jìn)行學(xué)習(xí)。
2.私立預(yù)科
私立預(yù)科是由院校或者機(jī)構(gòu)直接設(shè)立的語(yǔ)言和專業(yè)學(xué)習(xí)補(bǔ)習(xí)課程，其又可以分為FH預(yù)科和雙向預(yù)科。
FH預(yù)科是隸屬于應(yīng)用技術(shù)大學(xué)的預(yù)科，就讀這類預(yù)科的學(xué)生，只能夠申請(qǐng)應(yīng)用技術(shù)大學(xué)，事實(shí)上，即便你就讀的是某大學(xué)的預(yù)科，當(dāng)你完成預(yù)科的學(xué)習(xí)之后，可以跨學(xué)校進(jìn)行申請(qǐng)。
雙向預(yù)科的選擇范圍則要廣得多，可以選擇進(jìn)入FH大學(xué)，也可以選擇進(jìn)入U(xiǎn)ni大學(xué)，這樣的預(yù)科學(xué)習(xí)的內(nèi)容會(huì)比較多，一般在中小城市內(nèi)會(huì)設(shè)立這樣的預(yù)科。
二、申請(qǐng)條件
首先需要完成國(guó)內(nèi)正規(guī)本科的學(xué)習(xí)，成功獲得畢業(yè)證和學(xué)位證，在完成了預(yù)科的學(xué)習(xí)之后，申請(qǐng)的專業(yè)是沒(méi)有限制的，但是可以選擇與本科相近的專業(yè)。
此外還需要提供語(yǔ)言的證明，因?yàn)榧幢闶穷A(yù)科，在學(xué)習(xí)中德語(yǔ)的交流也是少不了的，沒(méi)有一點(diǎn)基礎(chǔ)是沒(méi)有辦法跟上正常的學(xué)習(xí)的。
可以提供的預(yù)登記考試的證書，也可以提供在國(guó)內(nèi)學(xué)習(xí)德語(yǔ)的課時(shí)證明。
德國(guó)留學(xué)認(rèn)可的德語(yǔ)考試
一、DSH考試
DSHSH考試全稱是 “德國(guó)高校外國(guó)申請(qǐng)者入學(xué)德語(yǔ)考試” (Deutsche Sprachprüfung für den Hochschulzugang ausl?ndischer Studienbewerber)，由德國(guó)大學(xué)獨(dú)立舉辦。DSH考試在一些大學(xué)每年舉行兩次到四次。大多數(shù)情況下，DSH考試只在學(xué)期開始前舉行。DSH考試內(nèi)容分為兩個(gè)部分，口試部分和筆試部分，按照評(píng)分，DSH考試按照分?jǐn)?shù)劃分為三個(gè)三個(gè)等級(jí)。
通常在大多數(shù)的學(xué)校DSH2和DSH3才能作為進(jìn)入專業(yè)的語(yǔ)言證書。考生不需要在每一個(gè)想申請(qǐng)的大學(xué)報(bào)考DSH考試，比如通過(guò)漢諾威大學(xué)的DSH考試，可以以此證書申請(qǐng)任何德國(guó)大學(xué)。唯 一不接受DSH證書的大學(xué)是斯圖加特大學(xué)。DSH證書是長(zhǎng)期有效的。
在國(guó)內(nèi)同樣是否可以參加DSH考試呢?
可以的，國(guó)內(nèi)部分院校與其合作的德國(guó)院校每學(xué)期都會(huì)在國(guó)內(nèi)舉行DSH考試，獲得的DSH考試證書同樣被德國(guó)院校所認(rèn)可。如北京理工大學(xué)，北京外國(guó)語(yǔ)大學(xué)，同濟(jì)大學(xué)，上海外國(guó)語(yǔ)大學(xué)，西北政法大學(xué)等。
二、歌德語(yǔ)言證書
憑借歌德語(yǔ)言證書同樣可以申請(qǐng)德國(guó)大學(xué)，對(duì)于大部分學(xué)校來(lái)說(shuō)，德國(guó)院校接受歌德C2證書，大德語(yǔ)文憑(GDS)是一種非常高級(jí)的語(yǔ)言水平，并且對(duì)應(yīng)于“歐洲共同語(yǔ)言參考框架”(GER)六級(jí)能力等級(jí)中的水平(C2) 。要達(dá)到這一水準(zhǔn)，根據(jù)已有德語(yǔ)水平和學(xué)習(xí)條件的不同，需經(jīng)過(guò)至少1000學(xué)時(shí)的學(xué)習(xí)，考試分為聽(tīng)說(shuō)讀寫4個(gè)單項(xiàng)，考試難度大。
三、Telc語(yǔ)言證書
Telc是歐洲語(yǔ)言證書(The European Language Certificates)的簡(jiǎn)稱，telc的命題單位為telc GmbH語(yǔ)言考試院。telc GmbH語(yǔ)言考試院是德國(guó)培訓(xùn)大學(xué)聯(lián)盟(der Deutsche Volkshochschul- Verband e. V.)的下屬機(jī)構(gòu)。telc C1 Hochschule于2015年11月被德國(guó)大學(xué)校長(zhǎng)和各州教育部長(zhǎng)聯(lián)席會(huì)議確定為全德大學(xué)錄取外國(guó)學(xué)生的合法語(yǔ)言證明，效力等同德福、DSH。
Telc C1 和DSH類似，只有口試和筆試兩個(gè)部分，口試：口試部分一共48分，及格分?jǐn)?shù)為29分(總分值的60%)。筆試： 筆試包括閱讀理解、完形填空、聽(tīng)力理解和寫作四個(gè)模塊。筆試滿分為166分(48+22+48+48)，正確率達(dá)到60%(99分)，即可通過(guò)。國(guó)內(nèi)目前沒(méi)有舉行Telc C1考試的機(jī)構(gòu)，學(xué)生可以考慮在德國(guó)報(bào)名相關(guān)考試。
